Research findings

The sampled population showed 8.3% higher coat-pattern variance than the 2019 baseline, indicating continued genetic exchange between adjacent forest blocks. No sign of inbreeding depression was detected across the sampled cohort.

Conclusion

Sample SPM-7781 is consistent with Panthera onca from the northern study block. Connectivity between the surveyed forest blocks appears intact for the current survey period.
