Faunexis Research Institute

An independent research institute for animal species, comparative morphology, and biological sample analysis. Our field teams and laboratories document specimens, record how each one was examined, and publish the results as numbered research reports that remain permanently retrievable.

Research & Laboratory Reports

Using the analytical equipment in our laboratory, we are able to generate the following types of research reports to support wildlife research, conservation, and education:

Laboratory researcher preparing a DNA sample beside sequencing data and a microscope
01 DNA Analysis Reports — species identification using mitochondrial and nuclear DNA markers
02 Chemical & Material Analysis Reports — material and elemental analysis using FTIR, XRF and other laboratory techniques
03 Imaging & Microscopic Reports — high-resolution specimen photography and microscopic structural imaging
04 Integrated Research Reports — combined assessment using multiple examination and analytical methods, shown with stacked Faunexis Research Institute report pages

All reports are published with a unique identification number and remain accessible through our online research database, supporting greater global awareness, understanding and protection of endangered wildlife.

From specimen to record

Research sequence
  1. 01

    Accession

Material and field imagery receive a permanent sample number, provenance note, and collection record.

  2. 02

    Examination

Researchers document morphology and compare observations against relevant reference material.

  3. 03

    Publication

Methods, findings, limits, and conclusions are retained together in a numbered research report.
